Formerly our great-grandfather's farm in the 1960s, the Truffières estate has been a family story for 4 generations. Across our 5 hectares, we've chosen to dedicate 75% of the space to traditional camping.
Here, nature expresses itself authentically: our 100+ m² pitches are not separated by tall hedges, which promotes a friendly atmosphere, a sense of space, and a connection with the environment.
For lovers of authenticity, our unserviced, non-electric pitches are perfect for setting up a true bivouac camp in total immersion, with enough space for multiple tents.

To meet the standards of European campers, our plots are equipped with adaptable electric hook-up points (4, 6, or 10 amps). This flexibility is ideal for travellers looking to charge devices or power outdoor equipment. For added comfort, we also offer fridge hire.

What is there to do around your tent pitch? From Camping Les Truffières, you can access the GR4 trail directly on foot for hiking, and drive to the famous Vallon-Pont-d'Arc or Grotte Chauvet 2 in under 30 minutes. Local shops are just 2 km away.

For bare pitches (tents, campervans, motorhomes), check-in is from 9:00 am. Check-out must be before 12:00 noon on your day of departure.
Yes, pets are allowed on our tent pitches (for a supplement). However, 1st and 2nd category dogs, as well as molossoid-type dogs, are strictly prohibited on the estate.
No, for reasons of electrical safety and network capacity, charging electric vehicles is strictly prohibited at the pitch hook-ups and throughout the campsite.
Camping Les Truffières offers 'Wilderness' pitches with views of the nature reserve, as well as 'Panorama' pitches offering unobstructed views of the Rhône Valley and the foothills of the Alps.
The electric hook-ups on our pitches provide 4, 6, or 10 amps (from 920 W to 2300 W) depending on the option chosen. Remember to bring an extension lead and a European plug adapter.
Free Wi-Fi coverage is provided across a wide selection of our 'Wilderness' pitches and around the campsite's hub areas. This service is accessible at no extra cost.
From your pitch, you can directly access the GR4 for hiking, book a canoe trip down the Gorges, or visit the Grotte Chauvet 2. The campsite also offers swimming pools and playgrounds.
Wood-fired BBQs and campfires are strictly forbidden by prefectural decree in Ardèche during the summer. Only gas BBQs are permitted on our camping pitches.
Vallon-Pont-d'Arc is about a 30-minute drive (25 km) from the campsite, allowing easy access to water sports while enjoying peace and quiet at the end of the day.
Cancellations and refund requests are handled exclusively through the 'Campez Couvert' insurance, which we highly recommend taking out when booking online.
Only a customer passing through for the weekend to meet up with my parents and children. Unfortunately, both my children were very ill, but the listening, empathy, and kindness of the owners and their team meant I still had a good weekend. Without judgment or pretension, the owner called several numbers so my children could see a doctor.
Beyond the family feel, it's a simple campsite that is close to its guests with facilities that make you want to do anything but leave! The staff are so attentive and the place is extremely clean!

We highly recommend this establishment, a real joy!! Well shaded, peaceful, 1 large space for the motorhome and motorbike trailer, 1 very beautiful and relaxing panoramic view, clean and well-stocked washblocks. The owners are really very friendly and extremely helpful, attentive to our needs and offer excellent advice! We will gladly return to see them with friends.

Great family campsite. We stopped for several nights during our mountain bike trip (Viarhona). The pitches are large, washblocks and showers are top-notch. The campsite managers are friendly, available, and caring. The pool is nice, although it gets shaded quickly in September.
Don't hesitate to rest in the peace and quiet of this campsite. Warning for cyclists: there's a steep climb to get there.
