Recipe of the marquisette with lemon

This recipe omits the oranges for a 100% lemon taste.

Ingredients of the lemon marquisette :

- 500g of limes and lemons
- 500g of sugar
- 1l of dry white wine
- 1l of crémant
- 1l of sparkling water
- 18cl of Pulco lemon

Preparation of the lemon marquisette :

The day before, start by washing and cutting the lemons into thin wedges.
Put them in a bowl and cover them with the white wine, sugar and lemon Pulco.
Stir and let stand.
The next day, add the sparkling wine and fresh soda water to the mixture, stir and serve the cocktail with a ladle.
You can decorate the cocktail glasses by "frosting" the rims with a mixture of sugar and lemon juice.
This amount will be enough for about ten people.

Recipe of the orange rum marquisette

This recipe for marquisette is one of the most traditional.
Feel free to divide the ingredients to make less, as this recipe will satisfy the thirst of at least ten people.

Ingredients of the orange rum marquisette:

- 500g of lemons
- 500g of oranges
- 500g of sugar
- 50cl of white rum
- 75cl of dry white wine
- 75cl of sparkling wine
- 2l of lemonade

Preparation of the orange marquisetterhum:

the day before, cut the fruit into small cubes or thin slices and put them in a large bowl.
Add the rum, wine and sugar.
Mix.
Let macerate in the refrigerator for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add the lemonade and sparkling wine.
Mix well before serving chilled.

You can of course prepare variations with citrus, lime, grapefruit or red fruits, or add mint leaves!
The more creative will personalize it by adding a syrup, sparkling soda or liqueur of their choice, or even make it a non-alcoholic drink!
In any case, add some ice cubes to make it a refreshing aperitif!
